Love doing hair, it’s my thing! After finishing cosmetology school, I decided to move to the ATL and focus on my growing on-location business for weddings and photo shoots. Working as a full-time hairstylist and married with a baby on the way, along with doing weddings on Saturdays, I was certainly busy but I knew there was something more I wanted to do! After becoming a friend and hairstylist to Mikka, we joked about opening a salon together…then it happened! Combining my clientele and experience in the styling/wedding industry with her restaurant background, the concept of The District was developed. This space is what I had always envisioned for myself and my clients; beautiful, hip, and full of talent! I strive to continue education within my craft of all aspects- color, cut, and styling! Seeing my clients leave feeling fabulous is what it’s all about!

I started working when I was 15 years old in the fast paced restaurant industry. Having always been the creative and artistic type, I knew I wanted to find a career where I could use my talents every day.  I decided I would go to school to major in art, with the dream to open a restaurant one day. After realizing that school wasn’t for me, I opted for a different route.  I desired to fuse my passion for working and creativity. Deciding to go into the hair industry, I opted for an apprenticeship and quickly built up a clientele. I had only been a hair stylist for 5 years when the opportunity came about for me to open a restaurant in downtown Roswell, knowing I would one day go back to doing hair. Several years later I decided it was time to get back into doing hair full time. I knew that Jessica was the perfect partner. Having Canton St. in Roswell be my restaurant home for the past seven years, I knew having a salon on the same street was the way to go. Offering food and beverage packages to clients for events was a perfect way to combine both passions of mine. I love to service people in a social setting, so why not create a space for someone to get pampered and have a bite and cocktail at the same time? Two businesses, three kids, and a very supportive husband makes for one busy girl, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love my job!
